Our Coffee Adventure
At Field Notes, every quest begins with a compass set toward discovery. We source through trusted importers who share our spirit of adventure. Guided by a farm-to-cup philosophy, we roast these little treasures to order, locking in freshness to celebrate each bean’s journey from remote origins to the hands of true coffee adventurers like you.
Small-Lot
Small quantity lots that yield unique discoveries.
Specialty Grade
Only 3–10% of the world’s coffee is specialty-grade. Scoring above 80 earns the title, but we hunt the rarest—beans rated 86–95, the true treasures of coffee.
7-Days
Ah, seven days! Just enough time for the beans to rest after roasting to lock in a treasure-trove of flavor. Every great adventure requires patience.
Subscriptions
2-week or monthly subscriptions.
Field-Notes
Follow me into the heart of discovery as each coffee holds its own secret. Uncover your next favorite coffee, one grower, one lot, one story at a time.
Pop-Up Events
Be ever-watchful for our next pop-up wherever it may be. Experience coffee as it was meant to be—shared among those with a thirst for discovery and enchanting conversation.

Love hearing about the Oaxaca origin and am also absolutely loving the coffee! I really have enjoyed it as straight espresso but I’ve hopped on the Aerocano bandwagon after watching James Hoffman’s most recent video and have found that to be my favorite way to drink it. So smooth but so complex and flavorful!
If the proof is in the tasting, then the taste was the proof (Rwanda Mutovu). Amazing difference, like small-batch bourbon. Wonderful experience as well. Happy trails ahead.
Thanks George! Your descriptions of the coffees are great and intriguing! Gotta try this! And...you out did yourself w/ the Vareda-SF...really!
